Zhu Najuan, A 59-year-old woman from the Central Chinese City of Wuhan transformed her appearance through plastic surgery to avoid paying her debt that costs $ 3.7 Million. She opted to dramatically alter her appearance and start a new life in the City of Shenzen Southern China.

But by mid-July, the police officers tracked her down and arrested her.

“We were very surprised at the scene,” the official Xinhua news agency quoted. “She looked in her thirties and was different from the photos we had.”

Zhu Najuan confessed to using other people’s identity cards to travel across the country by train. She paid her plastic surgery using borrowed bank cards.

But it is not clear yet who let her borrow bank cards. Zhu Najuan will be facing series of crimes which include cases like fraud, identity theft on top of her original pending court order to pay her debt. 

China opened its door to personal lending in 2014, Many people have been borrowing money so recklessly until they drown in million of personal debts.
